What is Cardano?
Cardano is a proof-of-stake blockchain platform: the first to be founded on peer-reviewed research and developed through evidence-based methods.
It was named after Gerolamo Cardano, an Italian polymath, who was one of the most influential mathematicians of the Renaissance, and was one of the key figures in the foundation of probability. He wrote more than 200 works on science.
